Discovering or Shaping the Significant"
A graduate of Oberlin College, Rev. Dr. Carl Scovel received
his STB from Harvard and STD from Tufts in 1985. He was the minister
at King’s Chapel from 1967 to 1999 when he became Minister Emeritus. As
an author, he was written Never Far from Home: Stories from the Radio
Pulpit, collects 100 of the five-minute sermons he recorded for a weekly
radio program and Journey toward Independence: Kings Chapel’s
Transition to Unitarianism. He continues with writings, lectures and
study.
